At Busari Group, our mission is rooted in impact: to build safe, dignified, and accessible homes for vulnerable people across the UK. This quarter, we made a meaningful investment into that mission by supporting the development of Panacea Children’s Home Ltd, a therapeutic residential home for children aged 11–17 with emotional and behavioural needs.
Located in Tilbury, Essex, Panacea is a 2-bed home designed to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care in a warm and stable environment. It reflects a deep belief that every child deserves more than a roof over their head—they deserve a place to belong.

Why Panacea?
Children with emotional and behavioural difficulties are often the ones failed by the system the most. Panacea was created to change that—through:
Small home settings that prioritise safety, calm, and connection
Trauma-informed practices embedded in daily care
Individualised support plans to help each child stabilise, heal, and progress
This is not just a care home. It’s a carefully designed space where transformation is possible
What’s Been Accomplished So Far
Renovation and compliance work completed to meet Ofsted Quality Standards
Safeguarding, care planning, and operational policies finalised and aligned with regulatory expectations
A leadership team appointed, including a qualified Registered Manager
Strategic oversight provided by an experienced Responsible Individual, ensuring strong governance and operational readiness
Strong relationships built with local professionals to support integrated care planning once registration is approved
This investment reflects not only financial commitment, but also active leadership and long-term partnership.
A Shared Mission
“We founded Panacea Homes after decades of working with children and young people. Time and again, we saw those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties fall through the cracks—rarely adopted, and often moved from home to home. Busari Group’s investment and strategic support gave us the structure, clarity, and momentum we needed to turn our vision into a functioning, purpose-driven children's home.”— Mendes Azevedo, Co-Founder & Director, Panacea Children’s Home Ltd
A Personal Mission
“As someone who was adopted and moved between homes and schools across continents, I know the lasting impact of instability—and the healing that can come from consistency and care. Panacea represents my belief that we can build better homes, one child at a time.”— Farooq Busari, Managing Director, Busari Group
Looking Ahead
Panacea is just the beginning. Busari Group is committed to developing homes that meet real need—whether that’s a 2-bed therapeutic children’s home or new-build bungalows for the elderly: The vision is clear: to create housing that changes lives.
